The Aufricht family carefully tends 31 hectares of land. Ten percent is now organically managed. Their methods are traditional. Grapes are hand-picked. The wine is fermented traditionally using the skins. It ages in large wooden casks. This imparts a distinctive character. The soil is sandy-clay loam. It’s an ice age moraine. The result?
