This small viharn offers a glimpse into the temple’s past. The main hall, though currently inaccessible, is rumored to possess stunning murals. These murals are said to depict important places and traditions from across Thailand. Perhaps one day, they will be restored to their former glory, allowing us to marvel at their artistry. Even in its current state, Wat Thong Phleng offers a unique experience. It’s a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle, a place to reflect on the passage of time and the enduring power of faith.
