The French army attacked and burned V\u0129nh C\u1eedu village. They aimed to protect the B\u00ecnh Tr\u01b0\u1edbc area now known as Bi\u00ean H\u00f2a.

The V\u0129nh C\u1eedu Nature Reserve links directly to C\u00e1t Ti\u00ean National Park. Together, they create a vital habitat for endangered species. These include yellow-cheeked gibbons, gaur, and Asian elephants. The Tr\u1ecb An Lake and dam significantly shape the district.
