The Viking Splash Tours Pick-up Point is near St Stephen’s Green. You’ll see the mighty yellow and blue DUKWs lined up. These are authentic World War II amphibious vehicles. Only a few hundred remain in the world.

Prepare to board a DUKW. These vehicles were built to carry soldiers and equipment. They aided the war effort. Now, they carry eager explorers through Dublin.

Our tour guides provide a comical commentary. You will learn Dublin’s history from a Viking perspective. It’s unique to any other city tour.

The Viking Splash Tours take you past main city attractions. We will see Trinity College, Christ Church Cathedral, and St Patrick’s Cathedral. You’ll also spot Viking Dublin, Medieval Dublin, and Georgian Dublin. The Government buildings are also on the route.

Remember to brush up on your Viking roar. You’ll use it often. Scare unsuspecting Celts as they go about their day. It’s great fun, especially for younger visitors.

The adventure includes a water section. After acquiring life vests, the DUKW enters the Grand Canal Basin. You’ll see the Naomh Enna Ferry. It once connected the Aran Islands to the mainland.

Other sights include the old Bolands Mill. It was a battleground during the 1916 rising. Plus, you’ll get a glimpse of the iconic U2 studios. These views of the city are unavailable on other tours. The water section lasts about fifteen minutes.

The Viking Splash Tours last about one hour and fifteen minutes. This may vary due to city traffic. Booking in advance is advised. Seats are limited.

The Viking Splash Tours operate seven days a week. They depart from Stephens Green approximately every half an hour. This is during high season, from June to September.
