Surely Bapak Lim A Ah and Bapak Gunawan would be proud. Vihara Graha Budha Manggala stands as a testament to their vision. This vision was to create a spiritual center for Buddhists. It is more than just a place of worship. It is a space for learning, meditation, and community.

The story of Vihara Graha Budha Manggala began with that dream. Lim A Ah and Gunawan wanted a place for Buddhists to deepen their understanding of Dhamma. They also wanted a place to practice meditation. Their dream was to build a strong spiritual community.

Their dedication turned that dream into reality. Vihara Graha Budha Manggala was inaugurated on April 6, 1997. Bapak Suratmono officiated the ceremony. He also supported the vihara’s ongoing mission. Three Bhikkhus attended the event: Bhante Dhammavijayo, Bhante Uttamo, and Bhante Jayasiriko. They blessed the new vihara.

Initially, it was named CETIYA BUDDHA MANGGALA. It was located on Jalan Raja Ali Haji in Batam. This marked the beginning of its journey as a spiritual home.

Vihara Graha Budha Manggala is now located in Batam. You can find it at Kompleks Baloi Mas Permai. It is more than just a building. It is a symbol of spiritual aspiration. It embodies the journey toward enlightenment.

Stupas are important in Buddhism. A stupa symbolizes the path to enlightenment. It reminds us of the goal to be free from suffering. It encourages the achievement of wisdom. Each element has a message. The message guides us toward living consciously.

Bhikkhu Guttadhammo Mahathera resides here. He helps guide the community. The address is Kompleks Baloi Mas Permai Rt.03/06 Batu Batam, Baloi Indah, Lubuk Baja, Batam 29444. You can find its exact location using Google Maps.

The Vihara Grha Buddha Manggala is more than just a place. It is a testament to faith. It is a beacon of hope. It is a center for spiritual growth. May its teachings continue to inspire all who seek wisdom and peace.
