The Vicerrectorado UNAP-CIRNA oversees various research initiatives. These initiatives encompass the Amazon’s natural resources. They also delve into the Indigenous languages of the Peruvian Amazon. Two key centers operate under its guidance. These are the Centro de Investigaciones de Recursos Naturales de la Amazonía, or CIRNA, and the Centro de Investigación de Lenguas Indígenas de la Amazonía Peruana, or CILIAP.
CIRNA is dedicated to studying the Amazon’s natural resources. CILIAP focuses on researching the Indigenous languages of the Peruvian Amazon.
