The Universal Studios Globe Statue has a refreshed design. It stands as an icon. It invites guests to explore. They will find dining, shopping, and entertainment venues.
CST fabricated this unique sign feature for Universal Studios. The globe has an 18-foot diameter. It is part of the logo sign. The Federal Sign Team worked together to design and build it.
The globe’s framework is all aluminum. It uses CST’s roll-forming capabilities. Their proprietary software program helped create it. The entire structure was designed and built in just four weeks.
The globe was completely welded together. It was in six sections. It was pre-assembled at CST’s plant. This was CST’s second project with the Federal Sign team. The first dome structure was for Universal Studios in Orlando.
Universal Beijing Resort is among the largest of all Universal’s resorts. There is room to expand in the future. There are plans for a second theme park. More hotels and a water park are also planned.
