Have you ever strolled across a bridge that once held the weight of history? Today, we’ll be standing on the Überfuhrsteg, a bridge in the southern part of Salzburg. It may seem like a simple pedestrian bridge, but it holds a secret. Built in 1980, it connects the Josefiau on the left side to Aigen on the right side. Long before the bridge was built, people crossed the Salzach via a ferry.
