The Twentysixth Church of Christ, Scientist, could seat an impressive 966 people within its walls. It served the growing Christian Science community in Los Angeles for several decades. However, like many Christian Science churches across the United States, the Twentysixth Church of Christ, Scientist, experienced a decline in membership in the latter half of the 20th century. This trend, reflected nationwide, led to the church’s dissolution in 1985. Today, the former Twentysixth Church of Christ, Scientist, building continues to serve as a place of worship. It is now home to the Wilton Korean Presbyterian Church. The building stands as a testament to the evolving spiritual landscape of Los Angeles.
