In 1915, a small group of devout individuals gathered in a home on U Street. They dreamt of a new spiritual home. They envisioned a beacon of faith in the heart of their community, a place where all could experience the uplifting power of the divine. This dream, born from faith and determination, would soon blossom into the Turner Monumental African Methodist Episcopal Church. The Turner Monumental AME Church, located in the heart of Atlanta, stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of faith and community. This church isn’t just a building. It is a vibrant hub where worship, ministry, and community intertwine, creating a tapestry of connection and belonging.
