Trường Đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật – Đại học Đà Nẵng

Established in 1962, Trường Đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật – Đại học Đà Nẵng has a rich history. It stands as a testament to Vietnam’s commitment to technical education. Originally known as the Đà Nẵng Technical High School, the institution has evolved. It has grown alongside the city of Da Nang. Trường Đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật – Đại học Đà Nẵng plays a vital role in central Vietnam. It’s a leading university for technical training. The university is a member of the larger Đại học Đà Nẵng system. This prestigious system is recognized nationally for its excellence. Trường Đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật – Đại học Đà Nẵng also serves as a major technical research hub for the central region. Over the years, the institution has undergone several name changes, reflecting its growth and development. In 1976, it became the Nguyễn Văn Trỗi Technical Workers’ School. Later, in 1994, with the establishment of the Đại học Đà Nẵng system, it was integrated with other institutions. These included the Đà Nẵng Polytechnic University and the Đà Nẵng Foreign Language Teachers’ Training College. The most recent transformation occurred in 2017. Trường Đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật – Đại học Đà Nẵng was officially established. This happened under Decision No. 1749/QĐ-TTg of the Vietnamese Prime Minister. This decision marked a significant milestone. The university was created by reorganizing the College of Technology and the Faculty of Technical Education from the Đà Nẵng University of Technology. Trường Đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật – Đại học Đà Nẵng boasts notable achievements. It has received the Third-class Labor Order. It also has numerous commendations from various governmental bodies. These include the Ministry of Education and Training, the General Confederation of Labor, and the People’s Committee of Da Nang City. This university stands as a beacon of progress.
