In 2007, a new chapter began in Hanoi’s academic history with the establishment of Trương Đại học Kinh tế Kỹ thuật Công nghiệp. This university, known as UNETI for short, wasn’t built from scratch. It rose from the foundations of the College of Economics – Technology for Industries I, which itself had a rich history dating back to the School of Engineering III in 1956. Trương Đại học Kinh tế Kỹ thuật Công nghiệp stands on Minh Khai Street in the Hai Ba Trung District and also has a presence on Linh Nam Road in Hoang Mai District.
