Journey with me back to 1899. A small group of Lutherans gathered in Maspeth. They dreamt of a spiritual home. That dream took root. It blossomed into the Trinity – Saint Andrew’s Lutheran Church. The church stands here today as a testament to their faith. Trinity – Saint Andrew’s Lutheran Church has witnessed over a century of community life. It has offered solace and celebration in equal measure. Today, the church, located at 60-06 60th Avenue, continues its mission. The Reverend Dr. Nancy Kraft leads the congregation. She guides approximately 200 members in their spiritual journey. Sunday services at Trinity – Saint Andrew’s Lutheran Church commence at 10:30 am. The church embraces a rich history. It remains a vibrant part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Trinity – Saint Andrew’s Lutheran Church also extends its hand to the community. It offers various ministries. These include programs for children and youth. Girl Scouts meet here. There are also ministries designed for adults and families. A men’s fellowship fosters camaraderie and support. The church also provides essential services. These include homebound visitation and ministries for senior citizens. Trinity – Saint Andrew’s Lutheran Church has served Maspeth for generations. It has been a place of worship, learning, and community. Stop by and experience the warmth of this historic landmark. It continues to be a beacon of faith in the heart of Queens.
