This yeshiva, or religious school for young men, is called Tiferet Bachurim. It is located in the beautiful suburb of Bayit Vegan, just twenty minutes from the center of Jerusalem. Tiferet Bachurim is a revolutionary yeshiva. It seeks to create a well-rounded individual, taking into account the three parts of a person’s avodah – their service to G-d, their service to others, and their service to themselves. This yeshiva, like so many other yeshivas, recognizes the importance of a vibrant connection with a Rebbe, or spiritual guide. Tiferet Bachurim enables this through regular Shabbat gatherings, allowing students to experience their Rebbe’s Torah teachings firsthand. Shabbat is a time of spiritual growth, where students can connect with their Rebbe on a deeper level. During the academic year, the yeshiva provides students with the opportunity to connect with Eretz Yisrael through tiyulim, or trips. These outings offer a unique chance for the students to connect with the land and their Torah.
