Over time, Tân Thành grew. It absorbed the neighboring village of Tân Lợi, expanding its borders and its community. On December 29, 2013, a significant shift occurred. Tân Thành was chosen to become the administrative center of the newly established Bắc Tân Uyên district. This marked a turning point, propelling the area into a new era of development and urbanization. Finally, in 2018, Tân Thành officially transitioned from a village to a township.
