It’s an open-armed house of worship that speaks of welcoming and community. TheMET Church has been around since 1965. It’s a place where faith takes root in the hearts of people from all walks of life. This vibrant church has been a source of hope and inspiration for generations of Houstonians. It’s a place where lives are transformed. Faith blossoms here. It’s where people find their purpose. The story of TheMET Church – Cypress Campus is one of growth and expansion. In 2009, TheMET Church took a bold step. It opened its second campus in Cypress, Texas. It was a big dream, fueled by faith. It was something that many saw as impossible. They found a temporary home in Hopper Middle School, where the children’s services took place in gymnasiums. The church services were held in the cafeteria. The community welcomed the church with open arms. Families joined, finding connections and support. Faith was spreading. The congregation grew, so much that the space became too small. They needed a permanent home. That’s when TheMET Church – Cypress Campus built its new home. It opened its doors on the 100-acre space in 2013. It is an example of how faith can move mountains. It’s a beacon of hope in the heart of Cypress, a reminder that the future is bright with possibilities.
