They preach the Word of God. They edify the body of Christ. The Voice of Truth and Life believes in authentic encounters. They want people to discover their gifts. They want them to use these gifts for God’s glory.
The Voice of Truth and Life teaches biblical truth with clarity. They aim to be the voice of the Gospel’s Truth. Services occur multiple times a day. People can join from Toronto, New York, Israel, the Middle East, and Europe. There are even services for those in Ethiopia.
The story of churches with similar names is inspiring. In 1968, a small village in Sha Tin Hong Kong saw the start of a church. It was a church after the Lord’s own heart. Brother Daniel Yu felt God’s calling. He left his job as a nurse. He wanted to preach God’s words. God commissioned him to glorify Him. He needed to revive the church. He wanted to bring many to Christ. He would take a path of suffering.
In 1968, God revealed His purpose to Daniel. Daniel saw how precious the church was to God. This was from creation to eternity. He started the church in Shatin Hong Kong. It was a church after God’s heart. This marked the beginning of revival. It was a movement of restoration.
In 1970, Daniel and others started work in Jordan Valley Kowloon. They met on a rooftop. In nine months, they gathered 40 believers. Later, they started work in Lam Tin. They preached to students at an elementary school. Many students came to Christ. Resources were modest. But God’s presence was strong. Brothers and sisters attended meetings. God added to the church’s numbers.
The Voice of Truth Church of God is part of this grand tradition. It’s a place where faith meets action. It’s a place where love and forgiveness are shared.
