“Did you know that The Spring of Life Church started as a dream?” The church stands before us a testament to faith and community. It wasn’t always this way. Brad and Leah Leach arrived in Philadelphia in 2010. They envisioned a church welcoming people from all walks of life. A place where they could experience God’s love. Their dream took flight in 2011. The very first service of The Spring of Life Church was held at The Academy at Palumbo. The atmosphere was lively welcoming and full of energy. For seven years they were a portable church. They met in different rented spaces throughout South Philly. This period shaped the church’s unique identity. A committed Dream Team of volunteers tirelessly served. They set up and took down worship environments each week. God showed them that a church isn’t just a building. It is a vibrant community. A community working together to serve the city. In 2018 a miracle occurred. The members of Calvary Temple a historic church in South Philadelphia gave their building to City Life. They were adopted into the City Life church family. This generous gift provided The Spring of Life Church with its first permanent location. Today The Spring of Life Church continues its mission. They strive to see lives changed by God’s love. Their belief is simple: spiritual growth happens when we love God love people and show it. They offer contemporary biblically-driven worship services. There is also excellent children’s ministry dynamic Life Groups and many serving opportunities. The Spring of Life Church isn’t just a place of worship it’s a living testament to faith hope and the transformative power of community. It’s a journey a story and a vibrant part of Philadelphia’s tapestry.
