Ever felt the power of a shared vision? The R.O.A.D. Church stands before you a testament to faith and community. It all began on November 26 1992. Minister Welch received a divine vision. He was called to reach out to those often overlooked. This vision led to the birth of the R.O.A.D. Ministry Reach Out And Deliver.
The first meeting took place in Minister Welch’s home in Detroit. Seventeen men gathered sharing the powerful vision. The ministry met every Saturday. Excitement spread. Friends and relatives joined. Soon women wanted to participate. On March 27 1993 seven women joined the ministry. A children’s ministry followed. By May the men’s ministry had grown to twenty-eight. The ministry’s rapid growth outgrew the basement. The Holy Spirit’s guidance continued. Minister Welch received a new call.
