Pastor Ben and his wife Peggy Rodriguez pioneered this work. They were originally from Santa Fe New Mexico. They had pioneered a church in Espanola New Mexico. They had also taken over a church in Las Cruces New Mexico. In November 1990, they were sent to pioneer in NE San Antonio. In June 1991, they opened The San Antonio Potters House Church.

From its start, The NE Potters House has seen Gods hand. The church helps build the community. The vision is to reach neighbors, friends, and co-workers. They share the good news of Jesus Christ. The NE San Antonio church grows and reaches the world. It spreads the gospel.

The Potters House Christian Center emphasizes personal evangelism. It holds many outreaches to share the Gospel. Conversion is key. They witness and preach for a decision about Jesus. Gods power saves and transforms lives. The majority of the congregation consists of unchurched people. They are converted by the Power of God here.

God places everything needed to accomplish His will. He does this in the setting of the local church. Gods will is done in us as we connect. We commit to a local church. Discipleship is vital. God intends for our calling to Him. It is accomplished through training within a local church. The highest calling of a Pastor is to obey Gods command. Make disciples. Baptize them. Teach them.

Church planting results from disciples raised up. They are released into the harvest field. The fellowship sends couples. They establish brand-new congregations. They aim to reproduce the vision. World evangelism is the vision. It is Gods vision to have a worldwide impact.

Salvation is a free gift. The Christian life is one of devotion. The Church is the Body of Christ. Water Baptism is an outward sign. The Lords Supper commemorates His death. Jesus Christ is coming again. The final judgment will determine our eternal status.
