A near-vertical drop. That’s what awaits you on The Leap of Faith. Are you brave enough?

Welcome to Aquaventure Waterpark home to The Leap of Faith. This isn’t just any waterslide. It’s a legendary plunge a near-vertical drop of 27.5 meters. That’s almost the height of a nine-story building. You’ll experience a freefall before hurtling through a transparent tunnel. Imagine sharks swimming below you as you race through.

The Leap of Faith is located in Neptune Tower. This Mesopotamian-styled tower stands tall. It’s one of three towers in Aquaventure. Each tower boasts its own thrilling slides. The Leap of Faith however is particularly famous. Its reputation precedes it. Many consider it one of the world’s scariest water slides.

Before you even begin the climb you will see the queue. It snakes its way. People are nervous. Excitement mingles with fear. You’ll observe the ritual. People position themselves on the slide. They cross their legs and arms. Then they push off. The screams echo. They are a mix of terror and exhilaration.

The slide itself is incredibly fast. The near-vertical drop lasts about three seconds. You’ll reach speeds of 60 kilometers per hour. The rush of adrenaline is unparalleled. It’s a sensation you won’t forget. Afterwards you emerge into a pool. The water washes away any remaining fear. It’s an unforgettable experience.

However there was an incident. At a sister resort in the Bahamas a shark made its own Leap of Faith. It jumped from a tank. It landed on an adjoining waterslide. The shark sadly died. The incident prompted Aquaventure Dubai to review safety. They wanted to ensure nothing like that could ever happen here.

The Leap of Faith is more than just a ride. It’s a test of courage. A moment of pure adrenaline. The sheer drop the speed the sharks below. All combine to create an unforgettable memory. So are you ready to take the plunge? Are you ready to experience The Leap of Faith?
