How fast do you think that plane is going? You might be surprised to learn that The Barnstormer, despite its appearance, isn’t as wild as it looks. It’s actually a junior rollercoaster, designed to be a gentle introduction to the world of thrills and spills for younger visitors. But don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s lacking excitement! The Barnstormer takes you on a whimsical flight with the one and only Great Goofini, a daredevil pilot with a penchant for the unpredictable. This isn’t your average flight though. The Barnstormer, originally known as “The Barnstormer at Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm”, first opened its doors in 1996 as part of Mickey’s Toontown Fair. After a major renovation in 2012, it was reimagined into the exciting spectacle you see today, complete with a new storyline and theming in the Storybook Circus area. While on your flight, you’ll soar up to 30 feet in the air, reaching a top speed of 25 miles per hour. You’ll twist, turn, and even experience a simulated crash landing into a barn. Just keep an eye out for those chickens! They used to live at Epcot’s World of Motion before finding a new home in Goofy’s barn. So buckle up, and get ready for a taste of the high-flying life with The Barnstormer. It’s a ride that proves even a little bit of goofiness can lead to a whole lot of fun!
