“This school seems to have students from all over the world!” Right here in front of us is the Thai Sikh International School or TSI for short. It’s a fascinating place with a rich history. Established in 1985, TSI has grown into a thriving international school. It welcomes students from over 30 nationalities! The school is known for its strong emphasis on diversity and character development, alongside academic excellence. While it was originally founded to serve the Sikh community in Bangkok, TSI has evolved into a truly international institution. Today, only about 20% of its student body is of Sikh origin. This blend of cultures and backgrounds makes TSI a unique and vibrant learning environment. Imagine the hallways buzzing with a mix of languages and traditions, as students from different corners of the world come together to learn and grow. That’s the beauty of TSI – it’s a microcosm of our globalized world, fostering understanding and respect between cultures.
