Taylor’s College was established in 1969. George Archibald Taylor and his son George Leighton Taylor brought their educational expertise to Malaysia. Their vision was simple: provide quality education. Their first campus was a small building on Jalan Pantai Kuala Lumpur. It was a modest beginning for a future giant.

Over the decades Taylor’s grew. It expanded its offerings. New campuses opened in Subang Jaya and Sri Hartamas. The college flourished. Its programs became renowned throughout Southeast Asia. The college even pioneered twinning programs. These collaborations with international universities broadened students’ horizons.

In 2018 a significant milestone occurred. Taylor’s College consolidated its operations. The Subang Jaya and Sri Hartamas campuses joined the Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus. This created an integrated campus. A place where students had access to even more resources.

The Lakeside Campus is more than just buildings and classrooms. It’s a vibrant hub of learning and community. It reflects Taylor’s commitment to academic excellence. The campus received a Special Honour Award from the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia in 2011. This award recognized its stunning design and planning. It truly is a testament to the vision of its founders.

The campus’s success is a tribute to the hard work of many. Students faculty and staff all contributed to its growth. It’s a testament to the legacy of the Taylors. A legacy of providing high-quality education to aspiring minds. Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus stands as a symbol of educational achievement. Its breathtaking setting mirrors the bright future it offers its students. A future rich with possibilities. A future that’s just beginning.
