This is Suno College of Education & Human Development, part of the Southern University at New Orleans campus. It started as a branch of the Southern University in 1956. In the beginning, it was housed in a single building with a faculty of 15. From those humble beginnings, it has grown into a thriving educational hub. This is where teachers, social workers, and other education professionals train, learn, and prepare for their careers. If you look closely, you’ll see it’s a campus within a campus, providing classrooms for both adult students and children.
