Dr. Betty Vaughn Evans founded Storehouse Ministry Fellowship in 1995 with her then-husband, Robert Evans Sr. Her journey, marked by both prophecy and personal trials, shaped this unique ministry. She was told she’d lead a great people and impact the world for Christ. Dr. Evans assisted several prominent pastors in the San Antonio area before establishing the Storehouse.
The Storehouse Ministry Fellowship isn’t confined to Sunday services. It’s a dynamic force in the community, reaching out to the elderly in nursing homes, prisoners in Bexar County facilities, and children through school supplies drives and tutoring programs. They also serve the homeless with blanket and food drives. The ministry fosters creativity and talent with dance, cheer, and step teams. It equips members with life skills training, health fairs, job fairs, and entrepreneurial training. They even have a men’s mentorship program, providing positive role models for youth.
Storehouse Ministry Fellowship also boasts a dedicated leadership team. Dr. Jo Dee Duncan and Rick Sparks serve as Associate Pastors. Rosalind Clark manages administration and finances. Dr. Evans felt compelled to find a larger facility. The doors opened days before the tragedy, offering solace to a community reeling from shock and grief.
