The older students engage in “Start-Up” projects, tackling real-world challenges in everything from catering to media technology. The school has also been recognized for its innovative programs. The student-run businesses won the Hamburger Bildungspreis, showcasing their talent and ingenuity. Beyond academics, the Stadtteilschule Rissen embraces a philosophy of hands-on learning. Students embark on “challenge tours,” pushing their limits on cycling trips and engaging in environmental projects.
