In 1953 a new home opened its doors. It was the Willibaldheim a place of care and comfort. This wasn’t just any building. It bore the name of St Willibald a missionary and founder of the Eichstatt diocese. St Willibald in Nuremberg wasn’t an ancient cathedral or a grand basilica. These sisters of the Mother of God of Mount Carmel provided essential support. They enriched the spiritual and social life of the community.
