St Paul’s High School stands in Pollok, Glasgow. The school replaced Bellarmine Secondary in 2002. The Silverburn Centre now occupies Bellarmine’s former location. St Paul’s High School uses some buildings from the old Craigbank Secondary School.
St Paul’s High School serves several communities. These include Arden, Carnwadric, and Darnley. Also Deaconsbank, Eastwood, Househillwood, Kennishead, Nitshill, Parkhouse, and Priesthill. Most of Pollok falls into Lourdes Secondary’s catchment area.
St Paul’s High School aims high for young people. It is a co-educational Roman Catholic comprehensive school. The school has about 1200 students and 70 teaching staff. Lisa Pierotti is the head teacher of St Paul’s High School. The school is part of the Schools of Ambition program.
In 2022, a new extension was added to St Paul’s High School. This multi-million pound project included 14 new classrooms. New sports changing facilities were also built. This increased the school’s capacity from 900 to 1200 students.
