St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Latin Rite was founded by Fr James Wilson. He was a retired priest. Fr Courtney E Krier began assisting Fr Wilson in 1993. Upon Fr Wilson’s passing in 1997, Fr Krier became pastor. He expanded the chapel. He began a program to feed the underserved. This mission continues today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Latin Rite.
St. Joseph’s Church meets critical aspects of the Catholic faith. It serves the spiritual needs of the community. This happens through daily and Sunday Masses. They administer the Sacraments. The church offers counseling and guidance. Religious education classes are available.
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Latin Rite serves those in need. They operate a hot meal service five days a week. This is for the indigent and underserved. An on-demand grocery pantry is available. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Latin Rite is undertaking a capital campaign. It is called Vision 2025. The goal is a parish hall. A more spacious venue is needed. It will better fulfill the church’s ministry. The existing space is a 700 square foot multipurpose room.
The Filipino Catholic Community also helps renovate the Parish Hall. Since 2003, Fr Krier opened the door to them. They longed to have a safe space for their adoration. They thank Fr Krier for always being there. They show gratitude by offering a night of music. This camaraderie has a good cause.
All donations are important to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Latin Rite. The church will establish a Wall of Acknowledgement. It will be in the entrance foyer of the new parish hall. Various levels of gifting will be memorialized.
