The trail leads to a fascinating historical site, the Tomb of Princess Jeongui and Ahn Maeng-dam. Princess Jeongui, daughter of King Sejong the Great, contributed to the creation of the Hunminjeongeum, a Korean textbook for hangeul. She was a woman of remarkable intellect, well-versed in astronomy and mathematics. Her husband, Ahn Maeng-dam, was a renowned calligrapher and a key figure in the 1453 coup.
