Sri Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana is celebrated in a grand manner every year. This usually falls towards the end of August. The temple is decorated with flowers. Various poojas are performed in honor of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. Devotees from the Perambur area visit during the Aradhana festival.

Every Thursday, free prasadam is offered to all devotees. The prasadam includes sakkarai pongal, venpongal, and sambar rice. Devotees can sponsor the prasadam by contributing Rs. 600. The Sri Raghavendra Swamy Temple also has a Life Membership scheme. You can donate Rs. 1,000 to become a lifetime member. Members can perform Archana once a year on a chosen day. This could be a birthday or wedding anniversary.

Raghavendra Tirtha became the pontiff of the Kumbhakonam Matha in 1624. It is now known as Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matha. He died in Mantralayam in 1671. His memorial attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
