Sir Arthur Conan Doyle a renowned author and spiritualist himself laid the foundation stone in 1921. He even donated fifty pounds towards the estimated ten thousand-pound cost. The church building a two-storey brick structure with a corrugated iron roof was completed in 1929. Its Free Gothic style is quite striking. Notice the two matching circular stained glass windows above the entrance. These beautiful details are just a glimpse into the rich history contained within these walls. The church has served not only as a religious centre but also as a hub for community services for over a century. Renovations in the 1990s preserved and enhanced the original building.
