Established on May 6 1994 Soul Harvest Ministries Cathedral has been a cornerstone of Highland Park Michigan since 1995. This wasn’t just any church. This was a place built on faith prayer and the unwavering vision of Bishop Lewis E Evans. He founded the ministry. His dedication transformed countless lives.

An accomplished musician a prolific writer and a gifted teacher. She even worked outside the church as a Logistics Management Specialist for the Department of the Army before retiring. Their eldest daughter Pastor Brenda Newell also serves as a LEAD Pastor. She’s a dedicated leader. Her heart is deeply rooted in spreading the Gospel. Together this family built something truly special.
