Hidden within the vibrant tapestry of Subang Jaya lies a story waiting to be unveiled. It’s the story of SK Perdana Jaya SS19. This isn’t just any school. It’s a place where dreams take root and futures blossom. SK Perdana Jaya SS19 first opened its doors in December 1994. Originally known as Sekolah Kebangsaan SS 17 Subang Jaya, it quickly became a cornerstone of the community. Imagine the excitement of those first students. They walked into a brand new building. Four two-story blocks housed 25 classrooms. There were also activity rooms. A bustling canteen and administrative offices completed the picture. Over 500 students began their educational journey. They were guided by three assistant principals. At the helm was the first principal, Tuan Haji Baharom bin Haji Kassim. Initially, thirteen classes accommodated students from Year 1 to Year 5. Just a month later, on January 14, 1995, the Parent Teacher Association was formed. A school logo and song were created. These symbols ignited a sense of belonging and pride. SK Perdana Jaya SS19 has continually evolved. Contributions, along with support from the Petaling Perdana District Education Office (PPD), have fueled its growth. In 2005, a preschool class was added. A dyslexia class followed in 2007. Today, SK Perdana Jaya SS19 thrives with a dedicated team of teachers. They nurture and inspire hundreds of students. As you stand here, consider the countless lives touched by this institution. SK Perdana Jaya SS19 is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s a testament to the power of education. It’s a place where young minds are shaped and dreams are ignited.
