Founded in 1941 SJK (T) Ladang Seafield stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of education. This Tamil school in Subang Jaya has witnessed generations of students walk through its halls. In 2009 SJK (T) Ladang Seafield had 142 students. Thirteen teachers guided them. Today the numbers are different. There are now 85 pupils and 10 teachers. Vimala Veerappan is the headmistress.

The school has a new building. It sits on a 26 hectare plot of land in Putra Heights. This modern facility boasts cutting-edge teaching and learning resources. It is designed to attract more students.

A special tradition at SJK (T) Ladang Seafield is the annual Deepavali muruku-making session. For six years teachers and students have celebrated Deepavali together. They make this traditional South Indian snack. This activity strengthens bonds and teaches cultural appreciation. Most students come from lower-income families.
