Did you ever hear the story of how a well, a parliament, and a flying horse led to the founding of Siloam Ministry? Siloam Ministry was born from the visions of Prophetess Jane Kiratu. As a young girl in grade five, she saw herself in parliament, calling people to repentance. She also saw herself in a well, people drawing water in containers of different sizes, each representing the magnitude of their problems. These visions hinted at her future role. Years later, after marrying in 1995, angels visited her in a dream. They presented her with a baby boy, a symbol of the ministry she was destined to lead. Prophetess Kiratu began her ministry by visiting patients at Coast General Hospital in Mombasa. She offered healing, comfort, and prayers. People began seeking her guidance, drawn to her divine gift. For two years, between 1996 and 1998, her home became a haven for those in need. Though not yet instructed by God to start a church, she continued to guide people to Winners Chapel in Mombasa. One Tuesday, a divine message instructed her to start a fellowship, nurturing souls with God’s word. Thirty people joined her initial fellowship. Soon, God prompted her to extend her reach to a group of women. Together, they prayed from their homes every day, their numbers steadily growing. In 2005, after a series of powerful visions involving a flight to heaven, white horses, and a wedding where she received a Bible as a gift, Siloam Ministry was officially founded. The initial congregation of thirty doubled within days, overflowing her home. A kind neighbor offered land for a temporary sanctuary. Siloam Ministry continued to thrive. The current membership stands at 1500, a testament to the powerful vision of Prophetess Jane Kiratu.
