They were fired for bringing a cheetah onto the ship, but this was just the beginning of their legendary journey. In 1967, they arrived in Las Vegas, a city that would become their stage for decades. The Mirage became their home in 1990, where their elaborate show, filled with white lions and tigers, captivated audiences. Tragedy struck in 2003 when Roy was critically injured by a tiger during a performance, ending their dazzling run. However, their legacy continues at the Siegfried & Roy Monument, a testament to their unforgettable magic and their profound bond with the animal kingdom. The monument isn’t just bronze and stone.
