The Sickenberghof daycare is organized into five groups. Three are dedicated to the youngest children. Each group lovingly cares for 15 little ones between one and three years old. Two other groups are kindergartens. Twenty-five children between three and school age find a home here.
The Maschseekinder-Pdagogik approach guides the educators. This means individualized learning. The focus is always on the child’s unique needs. The KITA am Sickenberghof is open year-round. It is closed on public holidays and between Christmas and New Year’s. There are up to five additional closure days for staff training. The facility also has a two-week summer closure. Early and late care services are available. These depend on sufficient enrollment numbers. If there aren’t enough children who need early care no early care is offered.
