The Sharjah Art Museum is located in the Arts Area, Al-Shuwaihean. It sits opposite the Emirates Fine Arts Society. You can wander through the winding alleyways. Explore the traditional and antique souks and shops nearby.

If you are coming from Abu Dhabi, the drive is about 2 hours and 10 minutes. From Dubai, it is approximately 30 minutes. From Umm Al Quwain, it will take you around 30 minutes. Ras Al-Khaimah is about a 1-hour drive. Ajman is only 20 minutes away. Fujairah is about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Sharjah Art Museum welcomes all group visits. Prior booking is essential. You can opt for a self-guided tour or follow a tour led by an official guide.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the reception area, library, and community space. Free guided tours are available in Arabic and English upon request. The museum also provides an elevator, mother’s room, baby changing room, and wheelchair access. A gift shop is also available.
