Pastor Victoriano M. Montalban followed. He served as president from 1955 to 1963. Then, Pastor Eugenio A. Capobres took the lead. He served from 1964 to 1965.

1965 marked a pivotal year. A new union field was needed in Mindanao. On January 28, 1965, the Cebu City office transformed. It became the Central Philippine Union Mission. The South Philippine Union Mission was established in Mindanao.

The Central Philippine Union Mission comprised several missions. These included Central Visayan Mission. Also East Visayan Mission. And West Visayan Mission. Negros Mission was included. It also had three high schools. There were 285 churches. Church members numbered 28,869. Pastor Eugenio Capobres continued as president until 1971.

Pastor Florencio M. Arrogante then served. He was president from 1972 to 1973. In 1974, Pastor Leodegario E. Montańa took over. He served until 1979. Pastor Dionisio M. Niere became president in 1980. He served until 1987. Pastor Violeto F. Bocala was elected in 1988. He served only that year. Pastor Hector V. Gayares then served. His term was from 1988 to 1996.

In 1966, the Central Philippine Union Mission reached conference status. This happened in May. Pastor Alberto Gulfan led until 2003. Pastor Jimuel M. Toledanes served from 2003-2006. Pastor Agapito J. Catane followed. His term lasted from 2006-2021. Pastor Joer M. Barlizo is the current president. He was elected in 2022.

The Central Visayan Conference is a key part. It was organized in 1965. It was reorganized in 1998. Its territory includes Bohol, Cebu, and Masbate. As of June 30, 2024, it had impressive numbers. There were 334 churches. Membership stood at 57,406. The population in its area was 6,000,998.
