It wasn’t built from scratch though. The school actually began as a branch of another school, Jongno Public School. Fast forward to 2002, and Seoul Yongdu Elementary School embraced technology with the establishment of its Jeongbohwa Center, a hub for digital learning. A few years later, in 2008, the school enhanced its facilities. A new library and a dazzling, multi-purpose auditorium were added. That same year, a dedicated English classroom was also created, reflecting the growing importance of global communication. Further renovations took place in 2010, modernizing the broadcast room, health room, and science lab. Seoul Yongdu Elementary School has continuously adapted to meet the evolving needs of its students, standing as a testament to the enduring power of education in South Korea.
