Seoul Kongjin Elementary School officially opened its doors in November 1992. Initially, it was located in Yangcheon-gu under a different name. But its journey wasn’t always smooth. In 2014, the school faced a major disruption when its previous location was slated for demolition. The entire school, students and staff, had to relocate. They were temporarily housed at another school before finally settling into their current home in Magok-dong. Seoul Kongjin Elementary School isn’t just a building; it’s a community. While known for its rigorous academics, especially its 24 classes and additional tasks like spelling bees and writing contests, Seoul Kongjin Elementary School also boasts a dedicated staff.
