Shortly after, on November 24, 1979, Seoul Daedo Elementary School welcomed its first students, a total of 41 classes from nearby Doegyeong Public School. The following year, in March 1980, the school officially opened its doors as Seoul Daedo Elementary School. Seoul Daedo Elementary School has continually evolved since its inception. It expanded its facilities several times, including additions in 1981, 1982, and 1984. Over the years, the school has seen numerous renovations and upgrades, ensuring a modern learning environment for its students.
