Here stands Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan USJ 12 a beacon of learning. SMK USJ 12 opened its doors on January 2 2001. It began under the leadership of Pn. Maizan bt. Mohd. Nor. She was the first principal.
The school started small. Only 253 students enrolled in the first year. Today SMK USJ 12 has grown significantly. It now educates many students. SMK USJ 12 strives for excellence. Its motto is ‘Twelveans to be the best’. This slogan encourages everyone to achieve their full potential.
SMK USJ 12 is located in Persiaran Setia USJ 12. It sits on 16.12 acres of land. The school features four blocks. These are Blok Aulia Blok Bitara Blok Cemerlang and Blok Dinamik. SMK USJ 12 provides complete facilities. These include science labs workshops and art studios.
In 2009 SMK USJ 12 had 2121 students. There were 1068 boys and 1053 girls. The school had 113 teachers. By 2011 the numbers had increased. SMK USJ 12 employed 120 teachers and 10 support staff. The student population reached 2235.
