SMK Bandar Sri Damansara 1 opened its doors on November 20 2003. Nine pioneers started this school. They included administrators and teachers.
Tuan Haji Tamrin b. Zaharuddin served as the former Assistant Senior Administrator. Pn Siti Zubaidah bt. Mohd Said was the former Assistant Senior Co-Curriculum administrator. Pn. Azlina bt. Mohd Ali served as the former Assistant Senior Student Affairs administrator. Pn. Asmakiah was the counselor. The first teachers were Pn. Najibah. Also Pn. Shiamala was among them. Pn. Lechumi served here too. Pn. Chan Mok Kiew and Pn. Jamaliah were also teachers here.
Pn. Asmakiah designed the school badge. She was an Arts and Design student at UITM. Tuan Haji Tamrin composed the school song. Pn. Azlina created the student pledge. The badge reflects the school’s values.
