In 1990, Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Maluri first opened its doors. It welcomed 360 eager students. The school is located on Jalan Wirawati 6 in Taman Maluri, Kuala Lumpur. Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Maluri quickly became a vital part of the community. It’s also known as SK Taman Maluri. The school’s first principal was Puan Hajah Rokiah bt Kassim. She guided the school through its early years. The official opening was a grand event. It was graced by the then Minister of Education, Y.B Dato Tan Sri Najib Tun Razak. Over the years, Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Maluri has grown significantly. By 2009, the student population had increased to 1080. This included 27 Chinese students and 55 Indian students. The remaining 998 students were Malay. The teaching staff also expanded to 79 dedicated educators. Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Maluri is situated approximately 10 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur’s city center. It thrives as an important educational institution in this urban setting.
