Many Polish nationals rest here, their names etched in stone. A chilling reminder of the war’s devastating reach, 279 children of forced laborers lie buried at Seelhorst. These infants perished due to the appalling lack of care at the “Wöchnerinnenheim Godshorn.” Their mothers, forced to work immediately after giving birth, were denied the chance to nurture their newborns.
