Originally founded as a combined elementary, middle, and secondary school, Schule Bekassinenau now serves as a vibrant elementary school. The school boasts a rich history. They are spread across 17 elementary classes and three preschool classes. The dedicated staff ensures a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. In 2024, Schule Bekassinenau underwent a significant transformation. A modern main building was constructed, featuring a new auditorium, cafeteria, administrative offices, and classrooms designed for collaborative learning. These new facilities also include a dedicated art room, a science room, a library, and a sports hall. Schule Bekassinenau embraces a diverse range of teaching methods. These include whole-class instruction, individual learning opportunities, cooperative learning, and open classroom formats. This variety allows students to learn in engaging and age-appropriate ways. Since 2013, Schule Bekassinenau has operated as an open all-day school. This program provides after-school care for students. The school recognizes the importance of physical activity.
