Have you heard about the School of Business and Public Policy? This impressive building is a hub of learning and training in Papua New Guinea, nestled within the University of Papua New Guinea campus. It was established back in 2002. It’s more than just a place for students, though. The School is constantly striving to improve the economy and shape the future of the nation. They’re known for having a reputation for turning out CEOs, managers, and entrepreneurs who make a real difference in both the local and international markets. But here’s a little-known fact: The School has benefitted greatly from a partnership with the Government of Papua New Guinea and the Government of Australia through the Pacific Leadership and Governance Precinct. This agreement has been a game-changer for the School. It helped to secure a brand new building equipped with the latest international technology and facilities, which opened in 2019. The School also works closely with the Development Policy Centre at Crawford School of Public Policy, which is at the Australian National University. What’s more, five lecturers from ANU are working with the School to train local human resources. The School of Business and Public Policy plays a crucial role in supporting the national development of Papua New Guinea. The team of faculty staff here conduct industry and policy-based research to create a vibrant future for the country. This remarkable institution is a shining beacon of knowledge and progress.
